Randolph County was established on December 18, 1832. It was named after Virginian Congressman, John Randolph, who served in the House of Representatives from 1799-1833. Randolph County offers an abundance of recreational, educational, and professional opportunities. Lake Wedowee's 272 mile shoreline offers residents endless capabilities to boat, fish, and hunt to their heart's content.
